How are Services Provided? All Treatment Provided Via Phone and e-mail
Sessions are conducted on the telephone at a mutually agreed upon time. The first session is a nutritional assessment which is designed to gather information about the specific eating disordered behaviors, current foods consumed, related medical conditions and to design a treatment plan. Subsequent phone appointments will be scheduled based on the treatment goals agreed upon by the patient and the dietitian. Services include Nutritional Assessment, Meal Planning, Weight Management, Menu Planning, Nutrition Education and Dietary Counseling, and Ongoing Support to meet specified goals.
If necessary, you will be asked to sign a consent form allowing the dietitian to contact your physician and/or therapist to send, receive and discuss necessary information regarding your care as needed. All personal and treatment information is confidential. If you don't have a therapist or physician, I will suggest ways to find one.
