Why Nutrition? What can nutrition intervention do?


This program focuses on assisting in the management of the habitual parts of the eating disorder and encouraging the healthy aspects of eating. Nutrition intervention can be very helpful for someone working on managing an eating disorder. Nutrition intervention can be several different things, in different situations. It may be doing compensatory behaviors less often or to a lesser degree. It might be stabilizing your weight, or eating a more healthy diet. It may be shopping and planning meals, or ordering food out in a restaurant successfully. This program is designed for people who are already in therapy and can work on the underlying issues with the therapist. This program focuses on assisting in the management of the habitual parts of the eating disorder and encouraging the healthy aspects of eating.
